Foggy & Broken Glass Replacement
Foggy glass happens over time especially with the climate we have up in Canada. The reason the window goes foggy is due to seal failure, the spacer bar contains a desiccant which does absorb moisture, however it can only absorb so much and then you get fogging. Whilst some people do not mind foggy windows, most want them to be replaced. You do not need to replace your windows, by replacing just the glass you save money!
Foggy & Broken Glass Replacement
If you have decided enough is enough with foggy windows and would like your nice view back, we can help. The initial step in having your foggy window glass replaced is getting the glass measured. We will come out to your home, measure your glass and check for any low-e coating, then we order a new unit. A typical foggy glass replacement order will take 5 to 10 days to have made, depending on how busy the glass manufacturer is. Our new thermal units come with a 5 year warranty, these are high quality window units that are better than what the builder supplied!
If you are looking to get better energy savings we can make more efficient thermal units with a low-e coating to keep the heat in ,couple this with argon gas and a warm edge spacer bar and you will benefit from less heat loss savings.
